The final engineering services examination result is finally here. UPSC ESE result 2017 is out at upsc.gov.in. The Union Public Service Commission organized the main or stage II exam in the month of May followed by personal interview. The result is now published at the official website www.upsc.gov.in. The result published at the official website includes Roll Number and name of the candidates. So, candidates who appeared UPSC ESE 2017 main exam, can now log into its official portal to check their result.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the final Engineering Services Examination(ESE) 2017. The stage II examination of UPSC ESE took place in May 2017. Where as the personality test for the qualified candidates occurred in July 2017. Now based on the performance in the written examination and interviews, UPSC released the final result for the post in the concerned Ministries/Departments.
The total number vacancies as per UPSC notification was 500 for various jobs. In which 291 was for Civil Engineering, 142 for Mechanical Engineering, 65 for Electrical engineering and 50 for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. But as per the official UPSC notification, total 500 candidates under different discipline are selected for various posts. This 500 post includes 258 posts Civil engineering, 135 in Mechanical Engineering, 59 in Electrical Engineering and 48 in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
The allotment of Candidates into various posts will be done as per their rank and preferred service by them.

- Navigate to the official website www.upsc.gov.in
- Click on ‘Engineering Services (Main) Result 2017′ on the Home Page
- Now it will direct to the Result PDF link
- Click the PDF link and type CTRL + F to search your Roll Number
- The selection list includes Name and Roll Number of the candidates
The mark-sheet will be available on the official website after fifteen days of the result declaration.
