‘Fear the Walking Dead’ has starred in a panel at Comic-Con where he has brought us the good news of its sixth season, which will premiere before the end of the year.
First, the release date of the new installment has been announced. It will be October 11, 2020, when I arrive at AMC. Of course, it will only be the first episodes, as the rest of the season could not be completed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To salivate, you could not miss a first preview – which you have at the end of these lines – of this new season that “will be darker”, as its showrunners have anticipated.
Dark and also deep. Because in this sixth season we will follow the group and what Virginia (Colby Minifie) and its Pioneers have meant for each of them.
Morgan (Lennie James), in his last message from last season, urged the group to “live” and this season we will discover what that means for each protagonist. Some will be intrigued by the stability and opportunity that Virginia’s communities offer, others will sink into darkness, and others will fight this imposition. Life behind Virginia’s walls will test them in unusual ways, making them forge their names in this new world.
“Maybe there are jumps in time” and even a musical episode in this sixth season has joked during the talk. But, one thing that was not wanted to stop talking is Morgan. It’s okay? Shall we see him? The showrunners did not want to say anything but it has been confirmed that, at least, Lennie James has been part of this new season, as he has been the director of one of the episodes, an experience that has enchanted him, by the way.
“factspress” will provide further updates when more information is available.
