In documentary format, this new story will show in-depth the history and evolution of Marvel.
A few months ago it was confirmed that in addition to ‘Winter Soldier,’ Wandavision ‘,’ Loki ‘, there were two more “secret” series from the MCU preparing for Disney +. We have already been able to take a look at one of them thanks to the Comic-Con held last week virtually.
Titled ‘Marvel 616’, the series will be a documentary anthology in which a different facet of the Marvel Universe will be discussed in each episode, exploring the historical, cultural and social impact it has had in recent years. To give us an idea of what this new title will be, Casa del Ratón has already released two clips from this series that will be released in late 2020.
Corresponding to two different chapters, one directed by ‘Community’ star Gillian Jacobs, and the other by Paul Scheer.
Here’s a brief look at ‘ Higher, Later, Faster ‘ – where Jacobs has taken the iconic phrase from Captain Marvel to present an installment focused on interviews with women pioneers at Marvel, including Sana Amanat and G. Willow Wilson, creator of characters like Ms. Marvel, who will have a live-action series at Disney + – and ‘ Lost and Found‘- where Scheer looks back at the comics with an emphasis on forgotten characters like Dr. Druid, the Buzzer or Typeface, as well as Black Panther himself, a character who, before regaining his popularity in the MCU, was not particularly known.
