In Marvel’s Avengers’ second War Table presentation, it has been announced that Hawkeye will be the first character to be released post-launch. Goalkeeper Clint Barton will arrive as a free DLC on an unannounced date, and he will be the first of many heroes to join the initial roster over time.
Hawkeye will include a new campaign that will launch after launch, with a new villain. We will be able to play her campaign alone or cooperatively, and hopefully, it has to do with the main story, “Reassemble”.
Concept art of the character has also been revealed, based on the story “Six days in the life of ” (My Life as a Weapon), by Matt Fraction and David Aja.
As earlier revealed, at the launch of Marvel’s Avengers we will have six heroes: Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ms. Marvel, and Black Widow, which we can use in campaign mode or in cooperative missions. But before that, a beta will arrive.
The beta will begin with the campaign level of the San Francisco Golden Gate, the first mission in which all five heroes will be tested and triggers the story. Afterward, you will be able to play two missions of the campaign with Hulk and Kamala, in which you will meet Abomination.
The HARM Rooms are training missions in holographic scenarios style rooms danger of X-Men.
Most of the content will be in the War Zones missions and the Drop zones, with a variety of objectives and enemies and that we will be able to play with the 4 heroes of the beta: Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Hulk, and Black Widow.
We will not be able to maintain the progress of the characters (abilities, equipment, levels) from the beta to the final game, but we will be able to get an idea of how it will work. There will be three pages of character enhancements, and we’ll be able to access the first in beta.
In total, we will have more than 20 missions, of various types in this beta, some very short, 10 minutes, and others that can last up to 2 hours.
