In 1807, Napoleon arranged a rabbit hunt to entertain his guests. His chief of staff collected thousands of rabbits for the hunt. However, instead of running away, the rabbits charged toward Napoleon and his guests, forcing them to retreat to their carriages. The rabbits had been raised in captivity and saw humans as a source of food.
