If you are like me, and you are a big fan of the Harry Potter universe, and you have even taken advantage of this quarantine to reread the book series of the famous boy magician, you are in luck, because JK Rowling continues to expand his universe and bring us news of the magical world.
On this occasion, the author has teamed up with the music streaming platform Spotify to bring us a new audiobook version of ‘ Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone ‘ but this time, with an incentive: the first chapter, now available, is read by Daniel Radcliffe, who played Potter in all 8 films in the series.
Every week, stars like David Beckham, Stephen Fry, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Eddie Redmayne, and Noma Dumezweni, among many others, will surprise fans of the saga by reading popular excerpts from JK Rowling’s acclaimed book, which has family, friendship, courage and overcoming adversity.
So if you are a Harry Potter fan, you will be able to enjoy these chapters read by a unique and diverse cast of narrators, as well as very special cameos.
Starting today, May 5, you can enjoy that first chapter of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ , and the remaining 17 will be published in full in mid-summer.
The audio chapters are available exclusively on Spotify, both for users of the free and premium versions. The videos of the recordings can only be seen on the ‘ Harry Potter At Home ‘ website.
Audio readings of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone can be streamed through Spotify and Spotify Kids.
The video recordings will be available for viewing through the Harry Potter at the Home app, which Rowling recently released in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Official Twitter tweet for the Harry Potter film reads, “From today onwards, good friends in the wizarding world are reading the first Harry Potter book.” “From the first chapter you will definitely agree that we have the correct statement …”
