If there is a new season that we look forward to it is the second of ‘The Mandalorian’. The truth is that Disney + could not have started better. The platform debuted with the first Star Wars live- action series , but also with one of the most exhilarating starts to a series in recent years.
So much so that fans of the George Lucas universe ended up wondering why the movies couldn’t seem a bit more like the series Baby Yoda and the Mandalorian have already conquered us, it seems that the second installment will put all the meat on the grill with characters that fans have previously fallen in love with.
If we already knew that Rosario Dawson will play Ahsoka Tano, we have now learned of the return of the most charismatic bounty hunter in the entire galaxy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boba Fett will appear under the face of Temuera Morrison, the actor who gave birth to his Jango Fett in the prequels, his father/subject from whom he was cloned.
The New Zealand actor also re-recorded the voice of the original Boba Fett from the first trilogy, so it comes as no surprise that no other performer has come up for the role. According to the same media, Morrison assures that he will have “only a small role” and it is not yet known what role he will play in the plot. Whatever it is, we cannot conceive that his appearance is not one of the great moments of ‘The Mandalorian’, season 2.
It is expected to season 2 + Disney reaches this October. Morrison’s casting is the latest in a series of high-profile announcements from season 2 of “The Morillion” about several guest stars. Newcomer to the series, Michael Began, is playing the role of a bounty hunter with connections to the series’ titanic hero, while Bill Burr, who appeared in a Season 1 episode, will return as short-tempered mercury.
