The tongue-eating louse replaces a fish’s tongue.

This parasitic crustacean enters a fish's mouth, destroys the tongue, and then attaches itself where the tongue used to be. It then acts as a functional replacement tongue for the rest of the fish's life, feeding on blood and mucus. It's the only known parasite that functionally replaces a host organ.
