Actor Kristofer Hivju, who can be seen in shows like The Witcher and Game of Thrones has now fully recovered and is in good health after winning the battle against the deadly coronavirus after he was diagnosed with it last month along with his wife Gry Malvoer.
He made a post on Instagram regarding this issue and wrote:
“Hi! We are fully recovered and in good health after I was infected by the coronavirus, and most likely to my wife. After several weeks in quarantine and also a couple more indoors after being free of all symptoms, we are finally safe and sound. We are lucky to have only mild symptoms of the COVID-19. We send our love and thoughts to all the people where the virus has hit much harder, and to everyone who has lost their loved ones due to the coronavirus. Thank you for all your support and please remember to stay vigilant and keep your distance, wash your hands, and most of all take care of each other in this strange time. Lots of love from us.”
Hivju is known for playing the character Tormund on the former HBO series. He took on Instagram last month to share his diagnosis with his followers and explained that he was self-quarantining with his family in Norway. The diagnosis came soon after the actor was cast in the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher.
Many more stars like Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko and Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have also tested positive for COVID-19.
